God is Salvation
If you believe in the name Jesus, you may be using it more often than you think, but what is in a name? Well, we know that God the Father placed everything in the name of Jesus. His name is above all names, He is a King of Kings, a Lord of Lords, a Prince of Peace, and the list goes on. In Hebrew the name for Jesus = Yahshua. The name “Yahshua” means God is salvation, hence Jesus being called the “Savior!” Let’s see what else we can discover when we look at his name in Ancient Hebrew…The name of Jesus is written with the letter Shin and Ayin. When combined they mean the “destroyer watches.” Shin means to destroy and Ayin means to watch. This is why many believed the Messiah to be a warrior before His coming, but as we have been taught in scripture, we war not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Our Savior is the Good Shepherd, who watches over us daily. It is His anointing on our life that destroys the yolk of bondage. I am thankful to have Yahshua watching over my life and for having destroyed all the power of the enemy.
